Have you noticed the trend in mags at the moment (well, actually it’s been happening for a while now) where all the beds are styled like you’ve literally just rolled out? I kinda like it. It’s more appropriate in the Winter months when there’s yummy cashmere blankets draped over the top and all sorts of nice linen all crinkled and crumpled. I’m really loving this bed and the bed head is super cute too!
Sometimes when decorating I get overwhelmed with all the choices of colour, but sometimes all you need is one colour in varying tones and it still has as much impact as a tri-colour scheme.
Some people can’t stand the term “punches of colour” but I don’t mind it. It describes this image below perfectly!
I’ve just discovered this new online store – . These are my favourites!
Flamingoes are quite possibly the funkiest dudes with their bright pink feathers and super long legs. I think I would like a pet one. He makes for a nice colour scheme that’s for sure.
Totally wishing I lived in Brisbane right now because I’ve just been invited to the launch of wallpaper collection with and it’s going to be fabulous, I can just tell based on the image below.
I love this idea! It’s perfect for apartment dwellers who want to add some greenery to their balcony but don’t have much space to work with. Just head to Bunnings and pick up some cinder blocks, potting mix and a pretty selection of succulents (or herbs for a kitchen garden!). If you aren’t a fan of the grey just paint them before you put them in place. For the full tutorial head over .
Holly from one of my favourite blogs has just blogged about an awesome list of interior/home books that I’m drooling over.. Clearly I need them all.
Have you read any of these books? Any recommendations?
